Edutest is a standardised entrance exam used by private schools across Victoria, Queensland, South Australia, and Western Australia to assess applicants for academic scholarships. It's one of the most widely used scholarship assessment tools in the country.
The exam has five sections: verbal reasoning, numerical reasoning, reading comprehension, mathematics, and written expression. Scores are reported as a percentile ranking against other students who sat the same exam, not a fixed pass mark.
Written expression is where most families struggle to prepare well — it's the one section you can't drill against an answer key, because it needs an actual reader to give feedback.
Everything you need to prepare
Timed practice covering verbal reasoning, numerical reasoning, reading comprehension, and maths — the same five-part structure the real exam uses.
See exactly which sections and sub-skills need work the moment the test finishes — not days later when a marked paper comes back.
The one section that's genuinely hard to self-study for. Get rubric-based feedback on ideas, structure, vocabulary, and grammar — the same criteria a real marker uses.
